Stagecoach 2017: This year, Stagecoach in Indio, has an amazing lineup of artists and performers. Dierks Bentley, Shania Twain and Kenny Chesney are the headliners this year. Some country heavy hitters and legends round out the line-up: Jerry Lee Lewis, Travis Tritt and Willie Nelson.
Don’t get Arrested at Stagecoach 2017
Every year I get calls from at least fifty people who got arrested at Stagecoach. And many of the people who were arrested at Stagecoach have never been in trouble before. Most the people who get arrested at Stagecoach are college students or young professionals. Their whole future is in jeopardy because they got arrested at Stagecoach.
The point of this all is to say that I am an attorney who can relate to you and the festival. This in turn can help you defend your case in the event that you are arrested at Stagecoach. The following is information to help you keep from getting arrested:
*If you drink, take a cab or have a designated driver
*Be on the lookout for cops
*Don’t sell drugs
*Don’t get into fights
Just enjoy the music and follow those simple rules, and Stagecoach 2017 will be a fun memory for you.

Empire Polo Grounds Map for Stagecoach 2017
The Empire Polo Grounds, where Stagecoach is held in Indio, California, is a huge facility! It is easy to become separated from your friends and lost. I’ve attached a map so friends can plan ahead to know where they’re going, where they can meet up if separated, where the bands are playing, etc. Very importantly, it is going to be in the 90′s during Stagecoach 2017, so it is important to know where the water refill stations are! If you are drinking, please be sure to drink water too, or the effects can be harmful and possibly lead to your arrest. Be aware and enjoy the festival responsibly!

COMMON CRIMES FOR WHICH PEOPLE GET ARRESTED AT STAGECOACH MUSIC FESTIVAL
Every year, local law enforcement agencies partner with other state and federal agencies to make arrests. Arrests at Stagecoach arise from undercover operations, plain-clothes officers and uniformed officers. Click on the following links to discover some of the more common crimes for which people get arrested at Coachella:
ARRESTS FROM 2012 & 2013
There were 174 people arrested at Stagecoach in 2012. In 2013, there were 104 people arrested at Stagecoach. Most of those arrests were drug or alcohol related. There were so many arrests for underage drinkers/fake IDs that the Riverside District Attorney created a whole new program to deal with them. I have gotten charges dismissed against hundreds of clients.
There were also many undercover operations targeting drug sales. Many people were entrapped and arrested for selling drugs. Many of these were good people who never even intended or tried to sell drugs. These cases are very defensible.
The Indio police join forces with several other law enforcement agencies to conduct the undercover operations. They are involved in all aspects of the Stagecoach arrests.
